The admins have decided that since anatomy is so important for people that draw humans, critiques should be done on the pop quizzes. For critiques, you will need your dorm partner. So if you don't have one, please go find one. They will be very important in the future as well. Dorm partners will go to your pop quiz page and leave a critique in the comments. Improvement is an important focus of this group. While you can improve just by drawing something over and over, having someone tell you what you are doing wrong is also very important. The critique can be as simple or as detailed as you want it to be. If your dorm partner hasn't done their quiz, you obviously don't have to do a critique. But if they have, I'm sure they would appreciate a critique
Thank you for your time~
From now on, this journal will be updated to show the current and previous pop quizzes, so when ever its in your inbox, check it! Below is the list of quizzes.

Quizzes
~~~
The most recent quiz will have a star by its name.
Expressions
Draw at least five different examples of facial expressions. Label the emotions next to them and point out what parts of the face the emotion effects, such as eyebrows or laugh lines. We have picked three manditory expressions and you can pick the rest. They're generic, but they're necessary. You must have happy, sad, and angry somewhere in your pop quiz.
Hairstyles
For this, draw three heads. On those heads, we'd like for all of you to practice how you do hair and hairstyles. Do some research on how it falls or different styles. We urge you to do a different style for each head. A fun and simple assignment that's also good practice! Good luck!
Human Bodies
For this, draw both a male and female body as anatomically correct as you can. Label the differences between the bodies on the drawing. Please no naked drawings, but underwear for optimal anatomy study is allowed.
Clothing folds
This one is a bit more complex. You draw an outfit (on a body, if you wish. This is preferred.) and show how the clothing would naturally fold if someone was wearing it. Just one outfit.
A note to roommates! Please remember to critique your roommate after they have posted their pop quiz! There is a full list of roommates on the front page. If you do not have one, please contact us!
Hey, Guys
EDIT: The journal entry had 34 views, but only two people talked to me about working on restarting the group. Last chance to voice your opinions on the group. I personally would really like to get it restarted.
Here are some ideas I had after restart:
-Revised uniforms (with some group input to make them the cutest they can possibly be)
-More group activities (such as doing group drawing collaborations or even memes)
-More group events and a semi-return of pop quizzes with a focus on art improvement, as the group was intended.
-Introducing clubs
-Redoing student elections, after which I would draw our student council to put on the front page
Assignments
I want to contribute my own assignment ideas for the group, but I'm not quite fixed on a good one just yet. :saddummy:
In the meantime, let's recap on the previous ones, shall we?
School Play
Draw your student and at least one other participating in a school play. There should be at least some sort of theatrical background. Costumes are not necessary, however, the students should also be acting out some kind of scene.
Genderbend
Draw your student and at least one other as the opposite sex. Simple. :la:
NOTE: Because these assignments were previously closed, they are completely optional. However, those who actually do them will receive a n
Active members?
Please note that if anything in this journal offends you, that was not my intention. But it's time to be serious.
We have 55 members at the moment.
4 assignments were sent in before the deadline. One more has been sent in.
55 members.
5 assignments, whereas 4 were on time.
This isn't working guys. If you don't tell us how to motivate you, well, then there's not much we can do. If this keeps up, then what? We'll start kicking anyone who doesn't turn in assignments? No, that doesn't work either.
Sigh.
Let's be serious. There's little chance that 50 people are all too busy to turn in assignments. And if 50 people are busy, they can send us a
ASSIGNMENT REMINDER!
There has only been 1 turned in assignment and the deadline is in 2 days! (10th Jan) COME ON GUYS WE CAN DO THIS!
As a reminder the event is:
~Winter Ski Trip~
It's time to go skiing. Can you handle going down the slopes or will you go off course? Who knows?
Draw a student of yours, alongside at least one other student, preferably two, on a ski/snowboard trip :) They don't have to be in the act of skiing, perhaps they're merely watching someone who fell into a snow pile, laughing! It's up to you!
And remember, those who turn in their assignments on time will get an avatar created by either ~Serenpi (https://www.deviantart.com/serenpi) or :iconrinnu500: !!!
I look forward to this new pop quiz. It should be fun. I love drawing cloths with folds.
